Two Lungora bottles with cream and navy labels reading Lung Cleanse Formula, 30 capsules

The Lungora bottle label in one picture, with 12 numbered notes

Below is the full, flat artwork of the Lungora label, front and back. It is the only place the brand prints any amounts. Tap a number on the picture, or read the matching note in the list underneath.

The flat Lungora bottle label: directions, warnings, storage and distributor on the left; the cream and navy front with LUNG CLEANSE FORMULA, a lungs drawing, ONCE DAILY and 30 CAPSULES in the middle; the Supplement Facts box and other ingredients on the right
  1. Suggested Use. "As a dietary supplement, take one (1) capsule daily." No meal, hour or water is named.
  2. Caution/Warning. Stick to the dose. Adults only, and not in pregnancy or while nursing. Medicines or a condition? See a physician first.
  3. Storage. A cool, dry place below 30°C (86°F). The capitals below repeat the rule.
  4. Children and the seal. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use the bottle if the safety seal is damaged or missing.
  5. The FDA box. Every front asterisk leads here. The FDA did not review the claims, and the capsule is not for any disease.
  6. Distributed by. "lungora", Aurora, CO 80011, a phone and an email. No street, no manufacturer.
  7. Front claims. "LUNG CLEANSE FORMULA*" and "promotes natural lung detoxification*", then two more claims in the navy panel below.
  8. ONCE DAILY and 30 CAPSULES. A 30-capsule bottle lasts one month.
  9. Magnesium row. 80 mg, 19% DV, "from proprietary blend". The only ingredient with its own amount.
  10. Proprietary Blend, 575 mg. Six names, no single amounts, and a dagger (†) instead of a percentage.
  11. Other ingredients. The capsule shell and four helpers that let the powder fill evenly.
  12. Label code. ENB_434_01_062326, printed sideways. Its meaning is not published.

What does "Proprietary Blend" mean on a supplement label?

It is a legal way to list several ingredients under one total weight. Federal rules let the label give the weight of the whole blend and the names inside it, without the amount of each one (21 CFR 101.36, Nutrition labeling of dietary supplements (eCFR)).

Two rules still apply. An ingredient that has a Daily Value, like magnesium, must show its own amount, which is why the 80 mg row exists. The other names must appear in descending order by weight (FDA, Dietary Supplement Labeling Guide, Ch. IV). If the label follows that rule, magnesium glycinate is the heaviest part of the blend and coenzyme Q10 the lightest.

What you cannot do is work out the milligrams, as nutrition researchers note (J Nutr, Perspectives on proprietary blends). More in our proprietary blend explainer.

Why is the 80 mg of magnesium counted inside the 575 mg?

Because the magnesium comes from the blend. The row says "from proprietary blend", so the glycinate supplying those 80 mg is already inside the 575 mg. Adding them to get 655 mg would count the same powder twice.

Magnesium glycinate also weighs more than the magnesium it carries. No source we opened gives the exact share, so we will not guess. It does mean the five other ingredients split less than 495 mg.

Safe arithmetic from the label, without guessing any hidden amount
ComparisonAmountWhat it tells you

Low end of usual L-carnitine use500 mg a dayThat would leave under 75 mg for the rest (Linus Pauling Institute, L-Carnitine)

What the dagger, the double asterisk and the single asterisks mean on Lungora

Each mark points to a different footnote. None is a quality grade.

† on the blend row

"Daily Value not established." No official daily target exists for the blend, so no percentage can be printed. It is not a warning.

** in the footnote

Percent Daily Values are based on a 2,000 calorie diet. Standard wording that only touches the magnesium row.

* after each front claim

Points to the boxed note on the left: the FDA never evaluated these lines, and the capsule is not intended to treat or prevent any disease.

Makers may use body-function claims without approval if the disclaimer appears and they can back the claims up (FDA, Structure/Function Claims). The asterisk is the disclaimer, not the backing.

Is Lungora for lungs? What the front-label claims rest on

Not in the way the front suggests: no evidence we found supports cleanse, detox or immunity. The American Lung Association calls lungs self-cleaning and says detox products lack supporting data (American Lung Association, Can You Detox Your Lungs?).

  • LUNG CLEANSE FORMULA*Bottle front, product name
    On the label

No study we opened shows any pill cleansing lungs, and none of the six ingredients has a human lung study.

  • Promotes natural lung detoxification*Bottle front, under the name

  • SUPPORTS HEALTHY LUNG FUNCTION*Bottle front, navy panel

  • PROMOTES RESPIRATORY CLEANSING & IMMUNITY*Bottle front, navy panel

Lungora warnings and storage: what each line asks of you

The left panel holds five instructions, and the physician line is the one buyers skip most.

Anyone taking warfarin or a similar drug should treat the physician line as a must: turmeric, CoQ10 and L-carnitine each carry a bleeding or warfarin caution (Memorial Sloan Kettering, Turmeric (About Herbs)). The full list is on the Lungora side effects page.

The other ingredients are the plant-based hypromellose shell plus cellulose, stearates and silicon dioxide, which help the powder fill evenly. The label carries no allergen statement.

Who is "lungora, Aurora, CO", and what is code ENB_434_01_062326?

Lungora label questions, answered from the bottle

What are the Lungora ingredients?

Magnesium 80 mg plus a 575 mg blend of magnesium glycinate, alpha lipoic acid, butcher's broom root extract, L-carnitine, turmeric extract (95% curcuminoids) and coenzyme Q10.

Is the Lungora total 575 mg or 655 mg?

575 mg of blend. The 80 mg of magnesium comes from the magnesium glycinate inside that blend, so the two numbers must not be added.

What does the dagger mean on the Lungora label?

It stands for "Daily Value not established". No official daily target exists for the blend, so the label cannot print a percentage.

Are Lungora pills capsules or tablets?

Capsules. The label lists hypromellose as a vegetable capsule shell, 30 to a bottle.

Does Lungora contain mullein or NAC?

No. Neither appears anywhere on the label; the six ingredients are the only actives listed.

How should Lungora be stored?

In a cool, dry place below 30°C (86°F), out of children's reach. No fridge is needed.

Is the Lungora manufacturer named on the bottle?

No. The label names only a distributor, "lungora" in Aurora, Colorado, and no maker appears on the brand's pages.
